So I posted a link to the Serengeti Golf and Wildlife Estate Festival of Good Living Viewsletter (http://www.serengeti.co.za/viewsletter1/index.htm) on to www.huddlemind.net. These guys are sort of on the forefront of digital marketing and PR 2.0 and the site itself serves as a social network where all the worker bees connect and exchange ideas. All buffed up and very proud of what we’ve done, I called the posting of our Viewsletter “The future of company newsletters”. I learned a valuable lesson. Never boast. It’s unbecoming.
Jaco Schoeman from BMM replied to my posting and merely said, “Look what we do, you might like it”. Like it? I freagin’ love it. It’s not in the same category as our work, but it’s smooth and slick which goes down o so well. This might very well be the future of online magazines. Well done BMM!!
